trading during the Ayuthaya Kingdom from the fifteenth century,

the place of two cities that are capital: Thonburi in 1767 and 

Ratanakosin in 1783. Bangkok has been at the center of the modernization 

of Siam (as the country Thailand was known like) during

the second part of nineteenth century, and the country was faced

especially by the West. This big city became a centre stage of political struggle in

Thailand that happened in the twentieth century, like the country was abolished to

an absolutely monarchy, that was adopted constitutionally rule and it 

underwent numerous uprisings and coups.
